The IMPACT>MOBILITY conference due to take place in Amsterdam this month has released its full agenda for the event.

Representatives of European cities, public transport and private mobility providers, investors and manufacturers will attend IMPACT>MOBILITY on 24 and 25 June. The event’s keynote focus is ‘Amsterdam: Delivering Mobility Innovation through Public-Private Collaboration’, which will see the City of Amsterdam’s Deputy Mayor and Head of Transportation Sharon Dijksma outline the challenges facing mobility platforms and ways providers can liaise with municipal authorities to streamline innovation in the public mobility sector.

The IMPACT>MOBILITY agenda also includes:

  • Exclusive insight from mobility providers including Daimler, Lime and MaaS Global into strategies for building smart mobility partnerships to reach cities’ targets on congestion and pollution;
  • City representatives from Amsterdam, Barcelona, London and others discussing the ways in which public-private partnerships in the Mobility as a Service (MaaS) sector can provide opportunities for innovation and sustainability; and
  • An overview of pilot mobility projects in cities and how these can be developed into sustainable, long term programmes.

IMPACT>MOBILITY event director Luke James said: “This is not another trade show. IMPACT>MOBILITY is an in-depth two-day conference programme tackling the fundamental business model challenges as cities look to deploy smart mobility projects. This isn’t about big picture trends. It’s about the realities of building and monetising mobility…we are delighted to have so many of the key stakeholders involved, working closely together as we establish the frameworks for future projects.”

The IMPACT>MOBILITY conference, where public bodies and private service providers will be able to exchange ideas and build relationships, will host policymakers and business leaders from Amsterdam, Helsinki and Paris; vehicle manufacturers Volkswagen and Daimler; and mobility platform operators Lime, ViaVan and Uber, among others. The full IMPACT>MOBILITY agenda features real life case studies and insights into strategies for building public-private partnerships.
